A person designated by the owner to represent them in all things related to a construction project.  As a consultant to the owner, Jim’s participation can be as little or as much as the owner wants/needs.

      Services that can be included:

·         Project team selection – Architectural team, permitting team, Contractor, Furnishings, etc.

·         Help build program

·         Help with site selection.

·         Project delivery method.  Design bid build, Design build, Construction Manager and Integrated Project Delivery.

o   There are other types, but these are the most common in our market.

·         Contract negotiations

·         Design Review and Value Engineering.

·         Construction Administration phase:

o   Attend project meetings, construction observation, change order evaluation/approval, payment application review and approval, monitor and drive construction schedule

·         FFE.  coordinating selection, pricing and installation.

·         Manage Project completion and close out documentation

·         Regularly update owner of progress – Verbal, email, formal reports

As the owner’s representative, Jim represents the owner in all things design and construction.

This is helpful for owners or companies that don’t have the staff, time, or expertise to run their own projects.
